Baxter has a cut on his ear that I have a hard time keeping a bandage on. He is really tolerant of me when I am playing nurse with his ear. LOL He goes back to the Vet this next month to have it looked at along with his annual shots.

I have the day off tomorrow so I will be playing catch up on housework. Tony is off for the week. He is working on the Van today.

The weather man says we have a chance of snow this next week. I am anxiously looking forward to more of it. Everyone at work calls me "crazy" for wanting more snow...LOL

Woke up to temperatures of 14 below 0 this morning. Brrrrr... Baxter and I got out and braved the cold to go to the Post Office and Store. Bet the kids are thankful for Christmas break so they weren't standing out in that cold waiting on the school bus.

I go back to the Doctor today and hopefully get released to return to work tomorrow. I only have to work a few days this week with the Holiday here. Tony starts his two weeks off for the Holidays tomorrow.

Baxter was cold....hahahahaha... I can't believe he let us put that blanket on him and actually sat still long enough for the picture to be taken.

We spent the day running all over Saint Louis and I am wore out.

Almost all of the snow is melted off from these warmer temperatures we have had overnight. We are suppose to get another winter mix before Christmas. I sure hope so. I love the snow on the ground.

I am bored being stuck at home with my injured back. Baxter loves it because he doesn't have to go into the cage for the day.

I go back to the doctor on Monday and start some therapy on Tuesday. Although I go back to work on Tuesday. I am looking forward to that going back to work part...LOL

I miss my friends from work although they call me everyday. I have gotten in touch with some of my friends from Jonesboro at the University also this past week. We kept in touch with emails but I finally found their phone numbers so I can call them now also.

Wish I was going to be home for Christmas but I have to work the weekend after it so that makes it hard to make it to Arkansas and back in that short of a time. I will wait until I go down for my psychiatrist appointment and spend a few days with my family then.

Beth wrote in her blog that the twins are doing well...http://fainscamp.blogspot.com/ I still find it unreal that we are going to have a set of twins in the family. I am looking forward to it though.

When I got home from work yesterday, Baxter and I decided it was time to play in the winter wonderland that was provided for us. Was a nice break on my nerves from having to drive in it for the first half of this week. He sure ran all over the place kicking up the snow with his paws, sliding all across the yard. Hahaha a few times he lost his footing and when he tried to get started again all he did was run in one place.

I definitely love where I live. I love the Winter Season and all that comes along with it. Everyone around me here is groaning and moaning about the precipitation but not me !!!!

Monday when the Hospital told me I was going to have to go to Barnes Care West (which is about 20 miles away) I sorta freaked out because the roads were icy and I called Tony and he just took off work and drove me over there. One thing I can count on is Tony. He takes good care of me. Driving in that stuff to work was one thing but getting out on the interstate in all that traffic was another story...

I don't go back to work until next Tuesday, so I am going to enjoy my mini vacation this week.
